Dr. De la Cruz is part of the scientific committee of the IV Andalusian Stroke Congress, held at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Malaga. An edition that has broken attendance records, with a multidisciplinary nature and in which high-quality presentations and research work have been presented. We continue advancing towards improving the opportunities in patients who suffer stroke: The extended indications for mechanical thrombectomy, the reduction in emergency care times, the new treatments for the prevention of stroke and the advances in neurorestoration and neurorehabilitation let us think about a better future for people who suffer from this dramatic disease.
