Dr. De la Cruz is participating in the kickoff meeting of the international ADAGIO clinical trial in Munich. This study, involving 121 major hospitals worldwide, including the Virgen de la Victoria University Hospital in Málaga, will determine whether the drug KarXT + KarX-EC more effectively controls agitation symptoms in Alzheimer’s disease with fewer side effects, and whether it can offer a better alternative to antipsychotic drugs, which are commonly used.
