The I Neuroweekend Malacitano is held in Malaga, an update meeting on therapeutic developments in different neurological diseases, organized by Dr. De la Cruz. Fifty neurologists from different Spanish cities enjoyed an intensive update and the highest scientific level, led by specialists from the Virgen de la Victoria University Hospital. The latest advances in stroke prevention, the management of migraine, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, demyelinating and neuromuscular diseases, as well as the imminent modifying therapies for Alzheimer’s disease, and a keynote lecture on the medical treatment of aphasias, completed a meeting full of new and upcoming hopes for the neurological problems of our patients.
