Neuromuscular disorders

This spectrum of diseases affects the peripheral nerves, the muscles, or the transmission between them, generating problems such as weakness, fatigue, muscular trophism disorders, loss of sensitivity or, on the contrary, increased sensory perception reaching to pain from daily or even spontaneous stimuli, and even alterations in visceral and glandular control.

In some cases, it is relatively easy to locate the problem and find its specific cause but, on many occasions, it constitutes a rare disease, whose diagnosis requires numerous tests and even specific studies in highly specialized hospital units.
